Algeria celebrates #NationalTourismDay on #25June every year, an occasion aimed at highlighting the importance of this sector as a strategic driver for achieving Algeria's economic, social, and cultural development, as well as promoting the country's diverse natural, historical, cultural, and traditional tourism assets that make it a distinguished destination at both regional and international levels.

The celebration of #NationalTourismDay presents an opportunity to highlight Algeria's vast tourism potential, alongside its rich cultural and intangible heritage that reflects the authenticity of national identity and the diversity of its historical legacy.

This day also marks a milestone in reinforcing the shared commitment among all stakeholders in the sector, from institutions, tourism and travel partners, to civil society and citizens, to work together on developing national tourism, improving service quality, and promoting tourist destinations across all regions of the country.

This year, I was appointed with the slogan #AlgeriaConnectedDigitallyToItsTouristFuture, underscoring that the future of tourism can only be built through technology, vision, and innovation. To become a modern, fully connected destination, capable of adapting to the new requirements of smart and sustainable tourism.
