At the "Our Heritage" handcraft fair in Egypt.

Within the framework of cooperation and exchange between #Algeria and #Egypt in the field of Handicrafts, the handicrafts sector will participate in the sixth edition of the "Our Heritage" handicrafts fair in Egypt, from December 12 to 21, 2024, featuring participation from 09 countries and approximately 1160 artisans, entrepreneurs, and active craft institutions.

The participation of the #Handicrafts sector in this event aims to highlight the richness and diversity of Algeria's traditional heritage, as well as to promote and market traditional handicraft products.

The National Agency for Traditional Industries oversaw the organization, with the presence of 05 artisans representing the wilayas of #Adrar, #Batna, #TiziOuzou, #Algiers, and #Constantine, showcasing traditional products such as #TheKsour art, #Copper, and #Zarabi, #LeCuirs craftsmanship, #TheChlie, #TheTextile, and natural #Sand work.

The opening events were overseen by the Minister of State of Egypt, with the presence of the Cultural Representative at the Algerian Embassy in Egypt, who emphasized the Embassy's support and assistance to the Algerian delegation participating.

The Algerian pavilion attracted a large and diverse number of visitors from various nationalities, who expressed admiration for the quality, creativity, and attention to detail in Algerian products, which reflect authenticity and national identity.

We highlight that this event represents an opportunity for the participating artisans to share experiences and insights, and to observe new techniques and methods, opening avenues for development and innovation.
